Birmingham Litter League welcomes volunteers who want to make a positive impact in their community. By joining our clean-up activities, volunteers help reduce litter, protect the environment, and improve public spaces across Birmingham.

Volunteers play an important role in helping Birmingham Litter League organise and run community clean-up events. These events take place in different areas of the city where litter is a problem, such as parks, streets, and public spaces.

Anyone can volunteer, and no special experience is required. Volunteers are usually provided with basic equipment such as gloves and rubbish bags. By working together, participants help make Birmingham cleaner while also meeting others who care about the environment.

Upcoming Clean-Up Events

Spring Park Clean-Up – 12 May
Location: Birmingham Central Park

Volunteers will help collect litter and clean public spaces around the park.

River Walk Clean-Up – 26 May
Location: Birmingham Canal Walk

This event focuses on removing litter from the canal pathways and surrounding areas.

City Centre Clean-Up – 9 June
Location: Birmingham City Centre

Volunteers will work together to improve some of the busiest public areas in the city.
